Even though Megan and Dave had a rainy day, it didn’t stop them from having a gorgeous beach wedding in July!! We squeezed in a first look on the beach before the rain came which Paul Francis Photography captured perfectly!! Megan’s wedding style was great for the beach with her J.Crew wedding gown that flowed perfectly in the wind. The ceremony took place in the cutest little church in Monmouth Beach. Guests then headed over to McLoone’s Pier House for a fun night of dancing. We loved the color palette which Petal Beach did a great job incorporating into the bouquets and floral arrangements… how pretty are the white roses paired with the pretty blue hydrangea! The couple also incorporated lots of subtle beach details including escort cards in a bed of sand and a seashell cake. We had so much fun working with Megan and Dave, now you get to enjoy some of our favorite images from the day!
Megan and Dave, we had such a wonderful time working with you!! Thanks so much for allowing us to be a part of your wedding, and to capture that perfect “rain” beach picture:)
We wish you all the best!

We loved working with Laura and Danny to plan their intimate outdoor wedding at Reeves-Reed Arboretum back in the Summer of 2013. We met about one year before and helped them find the perfect vendors including photographers Mary & Roy who captured all of the amazing details of the day! You can tell from the pictures this wedding was filled with love and emotion! Laura was a very artistic bride who incorporated many DIY details which included; a vintage broach bouquet (which was made with family heirloom’s) and cute escort card display! Another favorite element was each guest had a paper placemat at their seat which they had the opportunity to color and draw on before dinner. We then collected the placemats and they became the guest book!
PLD had the opportunity to do all the flowers for the wedding, the design included lots of baby’s breath which worked with the neutral color palette perfectly. Emily’s Catering and Cafe provided a tasty family style dinner which rounded out the day perfectly. Here are some of our favorite images!

A few months ago on a chilly November day we had the opportunity to work with some amazing vendors on a styled shoot we coordinated. The theme of course was The Great Gatsby in anticipation of the movie coming out in May. We were really exicted when Style Me Pretty’s Little Black Book decided to feature some of the images on the Friday the Movie was released! Here are some of our favorite images and details from the day!
Thank you again to all the amazing vendors and our models (Emily and Billy)!!

Alex and Jay were married oh a perfect September day in Spring Lake, NJ. They live in Boston but Alex grew up at the Jersey Shore and they thought it would be the perfect destination for their family and friends. The morning of the wedding, me met Alex at her parents stunning house in downtown Spring Lake. The bridal party then took an old fashioned trolley down the street to St. Catherine’s church for the ceremony. The rest of the day was all about the party which took place at the Spring Lake Bath and Tennis Club. They warned us beforehand but Alex and Jay were probably the biggest partiers we have worked with! We were blown away by how much fun they (and pretty much every wedding guest) were. They had an AWESOME band named Cafe Wha? who kept everyone dancing the entire night.
Alex incorporated lots of fun details throughout the day which made their wedding really personal. The pretty blue, grey, ivory and green color palette was the perfect combination for the shore in late summer. The table numbers represented all of their favorite spots from college and we loved the “high five” cake topper! And how could we forget the beautiful florals done by In Bloom. Check out a few of our favorite images captured by the amazing team at Robert & Kathleen Photographers!
